Shop locally on Black Friday & Sunday shopping in Erfurt
On 28 November 2025, Erfurt city centre invites you to shop local on Black Friday. Many retailers are preparing for this special shopping day with attractive offers, big discounts and even clearance sales. Black Friday plays an important role not only online, but above all in brick-and-mortar shops in your own city.
Together with the Erfurt Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK), the city management is deliberately promoting local shopping: 15,000 local shopping bags will be distributed to shops in the city centre and handed out to customers free of charge on the day of the campaign* – this not only makes shopping fun, but also strengthens the local economy and thus our hometown.

This year, 14 Thuringian cities are participating in Heimat-shoppen, and on 28 November it will be Erfurt's turn. Perfect for discovering real Black Friday bargains and consciously shopping locally.
